At Precision Torque Control, Inc. we offer Swiss turning machine capacity. We utilize a Citizen A32 swiss-style machine with live tooling. Small parts that sometimes require secondary operations such as flats, keyways, or tapped holes are no problem and may be able to be run completely in one operation. We specialize in stainless steel materials but also run carbon steel and softer materials like brass. We run tolerances as tight as +/- 0.0003”. We can handle part sizes up to 1.250” diameter and as long as 11” in length.
Turning is a material removal process used to create cylindrical parts by cutting away unwanted material. Our turning capabilities include cylindrical parts that have many features, such as holes, grooves, threads, tapers, various diameter steps, and even contoured surfaces.
